Fr. Alexander Atty
Resources from a Beloved Spiritual Father ․ 1948 – 2022
The Very Rev. Archpriest Alexander Atty (of blessed memory, †2022) was a parish priest for more than four decades and, for a time, Dean of St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. He was the spiritual father of our own Fr. Alexis Baldwin, and his teaching on parish life, on what it looks like for a priest, parishioner, and parish community to be good and faithful, continues to shape how Ss. George & Alexandra tries to live and serve.
The resources below include Fr. Atty’s own talks, publicly available from St. Vladimir’s Seminary (SVS Voices) on Ancient Faith Radio, as well as a video series in which Fr. Alexis reads aloud from Fr. Atty’s doctoral thesis on Orthodox parish administration, hosted on YouTube. We do not host or mirror these recordings; we simply link to them here with attribution, so that his teaching may continue to bear fruit in the Church.
